I've been here twice and both times the customer service has been great! It's a very friendly place. We've tried the Beef Malaysian Curry, the Spring Rolls, and the Bao Buns. All were really delicious. I did not feel like eating before coming but upon seeing and smelling the food my appetite changed. I loved that there was an equal ratio of meat to veg - both were soft, tender, and flavourful. It seems like a good place to just hang out with friends too as they have board games, books(?), and an area with sofas and a large TV.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and it’s definitely great value for money. The environment is spacious and clean, creating a very comfortable dining experience. Highly recommend!

I can confidently say this was the best food I have ever had. Every dish was bursting with flavor, incredibly fresh, and clearly made with a lot of care and passion. The variety of flavors was mind-blowing – it was a true culinary experience from start to finish. What made the experience even more special was the staff. They were not only professional, but also incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was just as impressive – warm, vibrant, and full of positive energy. Everything from the decor to the music to the overall vibe was perfect. This place is a gem. I can’t wait to go back!

Came to Manchester for a gig. Decided to come here for lunch. Man behind the counter (presumably the owner) was really friendly and gave us a bigger portion cause we were sitting in. He knew regulars by name which was lovely to see. The noodles were great. Lots of veg in them to add texture! I got the chicken curry and it was lovely, really rich in flavour. My uncle got the popcorn chicken. That was also lovely. Well battered and seasoned! The place was really clean as well! Could not recommend this place enough! Team is lovely!

Meridian Bar & Cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly sets this place apart. The pricing is incredibly fair across the board, making it a fantastic spot for both a casual drink and a full meal. One of the highlights is their fresh drinks—especially the hot chocolate, which is made with real melted chocolate. It's rich, indulgent, and absolutely divine! The attention to quality is evident in every sip and bite, as all their food is made with high-quality ingredients that result in flavoursome, perfectly balanced dishes. The staff are beyond helpful and kind, consistently going above and beyond to make sure every customer feels valued. They frequently offer samples and complimentary refreshments, a thoughtful touch that makes the experience even more special. A special mention has to go to Daniel, who is a true breath of fresh air. His energy, warmth, and passion for the cafe and its food shine through in every interaction. He takes the time to connect with each customer on a personal level, making you feel welcome and leaving you with a smile. We walked in only to get coffee at first but were greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome. They introduced the menu and we felt so welcomed that we decided to stay for food as well. The food is delicious, the service was quick and the staff were so kind. I had my son with me and they were nice enough to bring my coffee to the table as my hands were full. They were very accommodating to our needs as one of us was allergic to sesame so they helped plenty with her order. Had a fantastic time, enjoyed the food and looking forward to returning next time.

We happened upon this cafe while walking by and decided to give it a try, which turned out to be an absolutely fabulous and delightful experience. The food was a great value and was truly authentic at Asian standards – the Malaysian curry chicken was delicious and accompanied by rice, and the banana fritter dessert evoked fond memories of my childhood. The Vietnamese tea served at the end of our meal was a warm and delicate treat. The atmosphere was cozy and homely - it just felt like having food with family and friends at home. Daniel, who welcomed and hosted us, was very attentive and generous. This place is now definitely on our list for regular dining out and would recommend it to everyone, 10/10.
